Facts Vs Feels
If you want to make a lot of money in sales (and I have) you need to focus on feelings - because the vast majority of the populace never fly above their emotions. Very few people pay attention to facts.
If you want to succeed in the military (and I have) you need to focus on facts, evidence, performance and predictive assessments.
Always remember your audience - it is not that one is better than the other - it is simply to succeed, you must play to the rules of the playing field.
