If all you are doing is selling on Price / Discount / Rebate / Sale idioms,
you are losing money.
Ask the customer why they want the product - have them tell the story of why your product is important to them. Many a sale have been lost by an over verbal & push sales widget. If you shut up long enough to actually listen to the customer - they will tell you exactly why they want to buy, why it is a necessity for them, and what they are willing to spend (often way more than what you would have offered in a discounted sales presentation)
